Get to know Manny Pacquiao’s eldest son, Jimuel
Manny Pacquiao started as a humble boxer in General Santos City. He and his wife Jinkee, struggled to provide their children their needs. Eventually, Manny’s boxing career developed fruitfully in the local and international scene. He soon rose to fame and even started his own career in show business and politics. Despite this, his children managed to continue to stay away from the spotlight until just recently.
Emmanuel Pacquiao Jr. also known as Jimuel ventured into modeling in 2016. He was named as an official endorser of Blue Water Day Spa and Acne Treatment. Manny’s eldest proved to be a darling of the press even during his first showbiz interview.
It looked as if the young Pacquiao was trained well by his parents as he answered the media’s questions with finesse. “My friends, they’d always tease me that I’m famous now,” he said during an interview with ABS-CBN TV Patrol.
Now 17, he and brother Michael, modeled for local fashion brand, Bench. Jinkee is very proud of her son’s achievements and show them support all the way. She appears to be very hands on with their career and even accompanies them in their photoshoots.
Despite the newfound fame, Jimmuel seems to be a little bit shy in front of photographers. Luckily his mom is always beside him to give him the encouragement he needs.
Last year, Jimmuel graduated from junior high school at the Hope Christian University in General Santos City. He and his siblings used to study at an international school in Laguna, but their father decided to send them to their hometown in 2015.
The boxing champion said that he wanted his children to experience the simple life in his hometown. This event follows Jinkee Pacquiao’s entry into politics.
It sure looks like Manny and Jinkee have raised their children well as Jimuel stays grounded despite fame and fortune. In fact, he revealed in the past that Jimuel devoted his first modeling salary to helping friends in need.
