Wedding bells are about to ring for Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez

We may be hearing wedding bells ring soon for long-term Kapuso celebrity couple Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez. In a recent interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the 32-year-old leading lady confessed that she and her partner have been discussing their matrimonial union, possibly setting it in the near future.
“Hindi naman po talaga maiiwasan na di mapag-usapan. Kaya nga po kayo nag-e-enter into a relationship kasi hindi naman iyan laru-laro. Siyempre may goal po ang bawat isa na, eventually, magtatagal po kayo, na kayo na talaga, na wala nang iba. So, napag uusapan na po namin kahit papa’no.”







While the plans aren’t finalized yet, the celebrity lovebirds shared that they are securing everything now before they exchange solemn vows at the altar.














“Alam na po namin na hindi na kami bumabata. Pareho na kaming nasa 30-plus, na kumbaga, lahat ng paghahanda ginagawa na po namin—financially, mentally, emotionally… ginagawa na po namin. We are doing our best to prepare ourselves na kami na. Once naman po na ikasal na kami, wala naman na pong atrasan, wala na pong bawian. Andun na po kami sa paghahanda, dun sa sine-secure na po namin lahat ng dapat i-secure. Para ready na ready na po talaga kami.”














When asked about her preferred age to bear a child, Carla Abellana disclosed that her doctor advised her to not reach the age when it would be hard for her to get pregnant. She also shared what kind of children they would want and how many of them she would like to bear.
“Ang mga doctors po, honestly, dahil nga nasa 30s na ako, lagi po silang nagpapaalala na huwag masyadong matanda [magbuntis]. Dahil mas risky para sa isang babae. Ako, honestly, masaya na po ako sa dalawang anak. Magkaroon lang po ako ng dalawang anak, masaya na po ako. Girl and boy ideally. Pero kung ano naman po ang ibigay ni Lord sa amin, siyempre more than enough na yun, basta healthy yung baby.”
